Sting opens aktiebok.io, a free share register for Swedish companies
Our startups kept asking for an easier way to keep their share register, so we built one. Now we are opening aktiebok.io, a free share register and cap table, to every Swedish company.

Our startups kept asking for an easier way to keep their share register, so we built one at Sting. Now we are opening it to every startup in Sweden. It's called aktiebok.io, and it is a free share register and cap table for Swedish companies.
It is free and always will be. There is no paid tier, and we will never send you newsletters or track what you do on the site. Why? Because we built it for our own startups, and it works too well to keep to ourselves. You can try it now at aktiebok.io, starting with a sample company that already has its history entered.
"Keeping your share register up to date should take one sentence. That is what we built for our founders, and now every Swedish startup can use it." says Emanuel Andersson, CEO of Propel Capital and Sting Holding
How it works
Every Swedish aktiebolag has to keep a share register, and it is easy to fall behind after the first new share issue.

With aktiebok.io you tell your AI what happened, for example "We issued 12,000 B shares to Granliden Kapital at 84 kr." It drafts the entry with the share numbers and figures, and nothing goes into the register until you confirm it.
It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Mistral and most other AI apps that can connect to it. aktiebok.io has no AI of its own, so you use the one you already have. You also decide how much it may do: only read the register, prepare drafts for you to confirm, or confirm them itself after getting your yes in the conversation. And you can do everything in the browser without an AI.
What you can do in it
Every share has a number and every entry has a date. If you make a mistake, you correct or reverse it, and the history shows both.
Moving an old register in is done through your AI. Give it the old register's history and its current printout, and aktiebok.io replays every event and checks the result against the old register share by share. Only a match can be confirmed.

Before a new round or an exit, you can simulate it and see what it means for each holder. Shareholders can sign in with their own email to see what they own, and the company decides who gets access. Before a general meeting it gives you the basis for the voting list, and before a dividend the amount for each shareholder. You can export everything to Excel, PDF or CSV whenever you like. The full list of features is at aktiebok.io/features.
What happens to your data
Your register is never used to train an AI model, and the site has no advertising cookies. If we ever close the service, users get three months' notice.
Built for our startups. Now open to all.
Since 2002, more than 500 startups have been part of Sting, including Yubico, Sellpy, Airmee, Volumental, TERASi and IPercept. aktiebok.io started as a tool for the startups in our programmes.
From today, every Swedish startup can use it at aktiebok.io.
