Meet the 21 startups joining Sting this autumn
From technology built for the Moon to critical infrastructure beneath the ocean and new ways to understand our cells, 21 startups are joining Sting this autumn – our largest and most international cohort to date.

This autumn’s Sting Core brings together founders building across deeptech, energy, health, AI, infrastructure and more.
The companies are tackling very different problems, but one thing stood out in the selection: execution. These are founders who are already building, testing and turning technology into companies.
“What stood out was the quality of the founders and, above all, their ability to execute. They are already building, testing and moving their companies forward. When we see that combination of ambition and execution, we want to work with them,” says Karin Ruiz, CEO of Sting.
From the Moon to the ocean floor – and inside our cells
The breadth of what is being built is hard to miss.
Ultralithic is developing survivability hardware for extreme environments, including the surface of the Moon. Ocean Risk Intelligence is building risk intelligence for critical infrastructure beneath the ocean. And Yta Labs is building what it describes as “Google Maps for your cells.”
Energy and industrial technology are also strongly represented. Evora Labs is building an autonomous operations layer for batteries and renewable energy assets. WingBeam converts used wind turbine blades into construction materials, while PanelPlanner can produce detailed solar quotes in under two minutes.
Siwra combines AI and hardware to turn waste rooms into smart recycling hubs, while Diamind is automating sustainability compliance and reporting.
Across the cohort, founders are also building new solutions in healthcare, cybersecurity, financial infrastructure, music and connected devices. Sting is seeing more AI-native platforms emerge too, with AI increasingly built into the product from the outset.

Three new coaches join Sting
Three new coaches are also joining Sting this autumn: Sandra Jernström, Siam Choudhury and Corey Blackman. Together, they bring experience as entrepreneurs, operators and company builders and will work hands-on with founders as they build products, find customers and grow their companies.

Sandra Jernström
Sandra is a life science entrepreneur and venture builder with a PhD in cancer genetics. She co-founded an organoid-platform biotech in Paris, helping grow the company from five to 22 employees, raise €12 million and establish collaborations with organisations including AstraZeneca, Gustave Roussy and Institut Curie. Today, she is co-founder and CBDO of Vitroscope.

Siam Choudhury
For Siam, joining as a coach means coming back to Sting. He previously built regtech company Pliance at Sting before the company was acquired by Verified in 2023. He has since been Product Lead at EQT, is currently Chief Product Officer at Noru and is an active angel investor.

Corey Blackman
Corey has built and led technology and product organisations in energy and deeptech, including as CTO at Stella Futura and VP of Product Management at Polarium. Today, he is Head of Industrialisation & Digitalisation at SaltX.
21 new companies. More than 500 before them.
Since 2002, more than 500 startups have been part of Sting, including Yubico, Sellpy, Airmee, Volumental, TERASi and IPercept.
This autumn, 21 more join them.
